Naturally dried hardwood logs in Reigate
Our seasoned logs are all air-dried for a minimum of 14 months prior to sale. This helps to reduce the carbon footprint of our firewood compared to kiln dried logs, making our hardwood logs much better for the environment.
While our seasoned logs are dried out naturally in the open air, kiln dried logs are dried in kilns over a period of several days, using additional wood and electricity to fuel the kilns. This increases the carbon emissions of firewood production, making kiln dried logs less environmentally friendly than our seasoned logs.
